We started the night off quietly with pre dinner drinks at the Blue Martini (they even give you a sign board to mark the photographic occasion and free advertising for their bar) and dinner at La Tastevin restaurant in Grand Case. After a delicious meal and a few bottles of wine we taxied back to the Radisson Marina to see their fireworks display and welcome in the new year 2011. Well what a show it was the fireworks were amazing and the photo doesn't really capture the full impact of the light and sound show that bombarded the bay for almost 30 minutes. The fireworks miles away across the channel in Anguilla were also quite spectacular.

ReplyDeleteAnother rainy day in Bris! Enjoying following you around the Caribbean and reading about all your adventures. Morten flies out to Copenhagen tonight and enjoying our last (rainy) day together. Started the day with BBQ brekky. Did I mention it's been raining a lot here??? We have storm/flash flood warnings for next 2 days in Brisbane, S E Qld and some country areas.
