We all woke up hangover free and inspired to go sailing even though the weather was still nasty. Joanne was reluctant to sail but put on a brave face to get going and we headed out for Anguilla. It was only a 10 mile sail but as soon as we got into the channel Joanne felt unwell. We rounded the southern end of Anguilla and hoped for better weather but met a rough sea and strong winds. We limped into Road Bay a beautiful place that is normally calm and tranquil according to the brochures! I decided to do a quick wash before we set off and opted for the stress free washing machine option. I’m sure I’ll have to get used to hand washing eventually.
